Dylan Banks’ latest musical iteration tethers a haunted weightless expanse of drifting synthesizers and disembodied voices to the relentless rhythms of mechanical repetition. Dismantling the wall of sound to its fundamental elements allows the individual components to breathe. Equal parts techno, electro, and dark ambient, mamacchina marks the beginning of a new chapter in his evolution as an electronic musician, composer, and sound designer and signals a new direction for his live performances and forthcoming releases. In the remix, Flohr ramps the tempo up to 160bpm and extracts jungle tekno abstraction from the potent particles of the original track.
